An Ngaka to make voodoo magic and mix powerful potions – will help with any serious problem you may have – using powerful African magic, this doctor of ancient magic is able to solve all problems …… so is the claim of many spell makers and witchdoctors in Africa. Claims from being able to control how the magistrate rules to muti that will keep you out of jail.

Ngaka muti

The moral dilemma is one that most practitioners of African magic and voodoo have no care about. Surely if the ngaka is helping to influence a magistrate decision, then it is corruption of some sort? Surely if the witch is charging money to change the outcome of a court case then that witch should be prosecuted? This, and many other questions can be asked of magic practitioners in South Africa and Africa. If they have the power that they claim – then they must be breaking the law, and by default should be charged as well.

A sangoma who helps criminals cannot be called a sangoma – no matter how well trained – a proper sangoma could not, due to their responsibility to their people, ever help a criminal get of from charges, or stay out of jail. They may prepare muti to give the person the strength to face the charges, or prepare muti to help the person change his ways – but they can never make a spell that will let a murderer , or an abuser, go free. They could never take money to break the law. The interesting thing is – if the witch doctors claims about the power of the spells or the power of the potions is correct – and that they do work as promised – it makes them a criminal too, if their power is not great and they cannot help the person, then they are still a criminal because they are charging money for something that does not work!

Anyway you cut this profitable cake – the ngaka who offers spells to change the out come of a court case, or muti to influence a magistrate is a criminal – now that is a thing to take note of – It seems that this criminal activity is allowed to flourish and is even supported under South African law. It also seems that the spell buying public has no problem with these traditional healers, or voodoo magic doctors – they happily throw thousands of rands at the spell makers to alter outcomes and to actively manipulate other people. Voodoo magic and voodoo muti are just some of the offers on sale in the lucrative “spells market. Muti to do anything under the sun is out there – if you have enough money – you will easily find someone who will make a promise and take your money. A spell to stay out of jail is just one example – but take care – there are those witchdoctors and ngaka who should be going to jail themselves. If you are innocent, trust the justice system – if you are guilty – well … maybe you need to take your pain – it is highly unlikely that if you are up for a serious charge that spending 4 grand on muti will change anything, unless of course the ngaka has more worldly connections and is able to bribe you out of jail – and in that case you may just end up with another charge against your name.

Powerful spell maker, ngaka and sangoma to win court case and to cause the magistrate to rule in your favour. Do you have a police charge against you? Have you been charged with a crime that you did not do? You will need powerful muti to sort this problem out. This kind of spell is widely used in South Africa – and with our level of crime it obvious why sangomas and witch doctors advertise this type of spell. With the cost of the spell going anywhere up to R4000 a spell – a witchdoctor will prepare strong muti that will cause a ruling in you favour. To win court a court case, or to get the magistrate to believe your story, strong muti to change his mind is needed. Muti that can do such things generally needs to be made up of quite rare items. The amulet, or muti is worn around the waist on a string, and on the upper arm on a string. It must not be taken off until the problem has passed.

Ngaka prepares muti for murder trial

Muti is tied to the upper arm

When you visit the “Ngaka” or doctor you will tell your story. He then consults with spirits, in some case a series of doll like figures, similar to voodoo dolls. He will prepare the muti. He will also mix magic potions and rub the potions on your forehead, on your stomach, under your belly button, and on the back of you neck. He will then tie the muti in small bags and attach it to you upper arm and another on a string around your waist. This is muti to prevent you going to jail. The day before you go to court you will visit with the Ngaka again, and he will again give powerful muti for you next day in court.

From this process, and the fact that the ngaka did not ask questions and did not offer any consultation to help with the real problem, that of the man being a murderer, we can see he is not a sangoma. The man who purchased this muti killed another man in self defence with a knife – but they were both drunk at the time – and have had a long standing feaud. A good healer would have dealt with the real issues around the mans problems – not just taken the R3500 rand and given muti. The whole consultation took about an housr. – pretty good money for what seems to be voodoo spells and voodoo magic. This happenned in South Africa.

muti to stay out of jail

While someone who is charged with a serious crime may seek the help of witchcraft, it is does not always work. If you have committed the crime you will have even less chance of the muti working. No matter how powerful the sangoma or witch doctor is – if you are guilty, then you are guilty. The way the universe works means that in some way your crime, or bad deed, will come back to you. You may be lucky, and the muti helps, and you walk a free man – but it does not end there. In most cases you will end up in prison one way or another. If you are a bad person you will most likely do crime again, and then you will get caught. If you were innocent, and the muti helps, then you will be grateful, and because you are a good person you will obviously not be involved in any sort of trouble. This goes for any type of crime – any men will seek muti because they beat their wives, and finally their wife presses charges, or they do not pay maintenance, and seek to shirk their responsibilities – it all catches up with you in the end. The best way to get strong muti to work is to change yourself - to stop doing crime, to stop beating your wife, and to start paying so that your children can have food and a good education.

A sangoma that is a true sangoma will discuss all of this with you – if you are guilty you should tell him – he will then prepare a spell that will help you to be a better person – a sangoma that does not attempt to help you with making you a better person, and just sells you muti to beat the courts, is not a true sangoma – he is a witch or witchdoctor, and he is out to make money only – THIS IS NOT A TRUE SANGOMA! Any kind of healer that is working with good magic, or white magic, will attempt to change your bad ways – he will try and make you see you the error of your ways – and will prepare muti to give you power to stop your nonsense.

Often crime comes from alcohol and too much drinking. Too much drink can make a man do things that he is very sorry about the next day…. a good, respected sangoma will know this, and will give you muti to help you stop drinking – he will know that if you are guilty then you must pay for what you have done – and he will give you the power to face your crime, and to face up to the consequences – of course, if you have chosen a skellum sangoma he will happily take your money, and in doing so, will be as guilty as you are in the crime. A sangoma who helps criminals is also a criminal, a sangoma who give protection to a child abuser is also a child abuser – and there are many such bad healers and witches in Africa – men and woman who use powerful magic to protect powerful, bad people.

Sangoma training is not for everyone – it is not a simple thing to become a sangoma – it requires dedication and hard work. Generally a person is “called” by the ancestors to become a sangoma. This means that it is a lifetimes work – not something to be taken lightly – very few sangomas change their lifes work after becoming a sangoma.

When training to be a sangoma you will be expected to learn about herbs and plants – their healing properties and their killing properties. You will learn all about ancient traditional culture, and be expected to follow that culture. You will learn sangoma rituals and magick. You will find out all about our evil freind – the tokoloshe. You will be on call 24 hours a day once you have qualified, ministering to the needs and ailments of the people in your village, or the people around you. While you may be asked to make money spells, spells for love or a spell to take revenge – THIS IS NOT THE JOB OF A SANGOMA. You will find this out when you learn to become a sangoma.

Do not expect to make lots of money – becoming a sangoma is not a money making profession – it is a call to serve the ancestors and the people. Sangoma training will make you aware of all of this, but it is a good idea to know what you are getting involved in. A sangoma, while they do mix potions and cast spells, are not commercial witch doctors like one sees advertising on the Internet – these professors of magic and doctors of spells are merely playing at being healers – A sangoma is, above all, a servant and a spiritual healer – a leader, concerned with his peoples well being.

Rituals and magick play an important role in all types of witchcraft around the world. Wiccan spells, traditional African healing, sangomas, and voodoo magick all use rituals extensively. Rituals are a way to focus the mind and energise the spells that are being crafted – like rituals in other human endeavours, freemasonry, sport and church, they all follow certain rituals when practising their particular form of dogma. Sangoma rituals are just another form of this methodology and any spell weavers or people involved in spells and magik will use some kind of ritual.

While sport may see a long shot, the use of uniforms, chanting and music all form part of the ritual, and all work towards building the members up and focusing their minds. Ritual also help to form close bonds between the members of the particular sect. Sangoma rituals are no different, and like many religious and occult rituals, fear is a big part. For some reason, fear is used extensively, this may be to form closer ties between the members.

Any group of people who have shared fear or tragedy are closer for it. This is also used a a form of control, and not just in witchcraft, sorcery and religion, but also by governments and generals. The military are masters of rituals, long ago understanding the power of symbols and ritual as a means to control and motivate. While comparing Wicca spells and the military may seem a long shot – look closely, at all sangoma rituals, spells, spell weavers, and any practitioner of spells and magic, and you will start to see the thread that is common to all of these forms of witchcraft. Often, sitting on the outside of these secret rituals, and most of them are secret, they can seem very scary. This is for good reason - once there is no fear there is often no respect – and most sects and societies like the church and witchcraft need fear and secrecy – otherwise we, the common man, would use out own minds and laugh at what are sometimes just childish mind games, intent on controlling and manipulating us. Having said all that – ritual servers a very important part of any magic – focusing the mind, setting intent and clearing unwanted energies – all critical in making a spell that works, be that real wiccan spells or African spells and voodoo.

NyamiNyami – the loving African legend

As African legends go – one of the kindest and most loving characters is Nyaminyami – unlike the evil tokoloshe, this myth revolves around a snake like creature who cut meat from his own body to feed his people. While stories about the tokoloshe seem to dominate – the Nyaminyami deserves a prized place in African Culture.

Nyaminyami could easily win the prize for the African symbol of love – or even the symbol for Ubuntu – Nyami certainly has all the attributes to get this honour. With all the African legends talking about witches and spells – we could use a little love in African culture! Everyone is looking to control someone else – it is unbelievable how many spells are out there – or traditional healers offering spells – witchdoctors do spells – not, in my opinion traditional healers or Sangomas – these crafts should be concentrating on helping people and communities – not trying to make a quick buck out of ignorant people. The concept of a binding spell – offered by many traditional healers and Sangomas is frightening – think about it – a spell that binds – whether it is a binding love spell or any other kind of binding spell can only be bad for the recipient.

Tokoloshes

Tokoloshe stories abound in African culture. Tokoloshe tales ahve been told to kids of all races in Africa as a threat for being naughty. The tokoloshe is a small mishapen man with evil intents – usually only seen by children and sangomas. (witches from African culture). African myths tell tales of this little devil that makes so much truoble in some peoples lives. Traditional healers have been trying for years to find out who and what this tokolshe is. Tokoloshes for sale – Evil witchdoctors will pay a tokoloshe to do dirty jobs for them – but the witchdoctor must be a powerful sangoma indeed to control a tokoloshe. African legends and African myths are full of stories about African spells including money spells and love spells.

In African legends the tokoloshe gets the blame for many things that go wrong – and in fact, in modern Africa the tokoloshe is just as prevalent and is also blamed for many things – often not true – but if someone thinks they have a curse or a spell on them – they will blame the tokoloshe. Tokoloshes are spoken about in African Myths and legends but tokoloshe pictures are few and far between. He is known through out Africa but is primarily from African myths and legends. South African folklore is full of stories about tokolohes and witchcraft – good and bad – but mostly bad. Powerful sangomas and witches in African culture are a big part of the continents psych – so much so that the online business for spells like love spells and money spells is booming.
